Drone and Ground Photography for a Fleet That’s Moving Forward
This drone service project brought together aerial and ground photography to showcase Shoreline Aviation’s refreshed charter fleet in a way that felt true to the Shoreline brand.

When Shoreline Aviation refreshed its Massachusetts-based charter fleet, leadership wanted marketing imagery that matched a clear “Shoreline” look and feel.
With a significant share of the local fleet turned over since their last fleet shoot, it was the right moment to bring in an aviation-savvy photo crew to capture both the aircraft and the energy on the ramp.
Our team at PhotoFlight AM joined Shoreline at Marshfield Municipal Airport (KGHG) on a picture-perfect spring day.
For this project, our drone photography services in Massachusetts were used to capture the scale, layout and movement of the refreshed charter fleet, keeping the finished imagery aligned with Shoreline’s brand.
Along with the drone photography and videography from those low, dynamic altitudes, we also delivered professional ground-based photography so Shoreline’s creative team would have cohesive stills and motion media for their websites and marketing campaigns.
Project Details
Project: Shoreline Aviation charter fleet photo shoot for marketing stills, aerials, and supporting video
Client: Shoreline Aviation
Location: Marshfield Municipal Airport (KGHG), in Marshfield, Massachusetts
Deliverables: Drone photo and video of fleet formations and ramp operations; ground photography of aircraft lineups, crew activity, and hangar/ramp details for marketing use.
Crew/Equipment: PhotoFlight operations led by Mike Gearin (VP of Operations and cofounder), with Shoreline staff coordinating aircraft positioning on the reconstructed ramp.
Fleet context and creative goals
Shoreline’s evolving charter fleet tells a story of growth: locally based jets aligned around the Cessna Citation 560XL series, turboprops from the Pilatus PC-12 family and a Falcon 2000LX operating from Palm Beach International.
Our job was to translate that progress into imagery that feels intentional, premium, and true to how Shoreline operates day to day vs generic ramp snapshots, but visuals that support a cohesive brand presence.
We focused on coordinated ramp operations and safety
Shoreline staged the fleet on the ramp using disciplined movement and ground support, and we worked shoulder-to-shoulder with their team to keep the shoot running efficiently and being mindful of the aircraft, personnel and airport operations.
- Lead coordination: Shoreline General Manager Travis Barth helped direct the day’s photography plan and on-ramp workflow.
- Airport operations support: Airport Manager Jason Tibbetts and line operations specialist Chris Davis supported fleet mobilization and positioning.
- Photo crew: Mike Gearin captured aerial perspectives while shooting ground stills where they best showcased formations, crew teamwork and the scale of the fleet refresh.
Aerial and ground photography helped us tell the full story
Drones are excellent for showing aircraft lineup geometry, wing-to-wing spacing and the full sweep of the ramp. These are angles that are difficult to capture from the ground alone especially when the goal is to show the scale of a refreshed fleet.
Ground photography added the close-up details Shoreline needed for their marketing materials. This included aircraft paint and striping, crew activity, ramp details and the professional atmosphere around the FBO environment.
Together the aerial and ground coverage gave Shoreline a stronger image library with wide hero shots, tighter detail photos and supporting visuals that still feel like one coordinated shoot.
Our focus was to deliver imagery that Shoreline can put to work immediately. They needed materials that reflect a modern charter operation with a disciplined safety culture and a fleet that’s moving forward.
